They attended the same high school, and then the same college, but different years separated them. During their years at JMU, they would see each other around campus, church, the gym, but it took a while for anything to spark. On their first date, they found themselves at Panera where they talked for 5 hours straight, and the rest was history. After 3 1/2 years of dating, they were back visiting JMU, and Andrew had it all planned out…he wanted to take her to a “hidden gem” that overlooked the campus and the Blueridge mountains, but nothing quite worked out as planned. It was a dreary, rainy day, and when they finally made their way to the outdoor terrace at the “hidden gem”, they found the door locked. Not to be discouraged, Andrew found another little spot that was perfect, and asked Jenny to be his wife! I can’t wait to celebrate these two this fall!!
We met up in Old Town Alexandria for their engagement session, and goodness were the crowds crazy! But we found parking, and headed to this little church that Jenny’s mom had told her about. It turned out to be absolutely PERFECT!! There were gorgeous trees, beautiful light, and no crowds at all! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect spot to begin! These two are SO natural with each other and their love is so evident, just watching them interact. Jenny and Andrew, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives!! Enjoy some of my many favorites!
Love you two so much!
Aren’t Jenny’s purple pants amazing!? Coupled with the beautiful scarf, they are so perfect!!
