Cole’s Birth Story

It’s a funny thing, when your first two babies have come pretty early. Even though I was told from the getgo that the 3rd baby is often a wildcard, I couldn’t help but assume this one would come early like the others.

Maternity Leave

Posted 11.28.2017 in Personal

Well friends, I can’t believe it’s already here, but it’s time for me to officially post my maternity leave! With our sweet baby due any day now, I’ve been on unofficial maternity leave for the past couple of weeks (our babies just normally come early!), but now it’s official, and it’s so crazy to think that baby Goosie could be here any day! I will be on maternity leave through the end of March for lifestyle sessions, and through the end of May for weddings.

Brynna Kate – Happy First Birthday!!

A Letter To My Daughter

Posted 03.02.2017 in Motherhood, Personal

Brynna turns ONE today!!! I can’t get enough of her crinkly nose, dimpled cheek smile, and those piercing blue eyes! This year has been full of ups and downs, little sleep (there IS such a thing as a good night sleep right!? I haven’t had one in over a year, so I’m starting to doubt that it ever existed…), and so much laughter and joy and love I can’t even put it into words! I remember when Wyatt turned one, I was so very sad that the year had flown by so quickly. With Brynna Kate, part of me aches to hold her as a newborn again, but I’m actually more excited for what’s to come!

A Giraffe and a Big Brother || Halloween

Halloween

For the last couple of weeks I have asked Wyatt what he wanted to be for Halloween (throwing out many, many ideas), and EVERY time he said, “Mm…no. Just Dy-ditt.” (Wyatt-ese for Wyatt) Even after seeing Brynna dressed up today, he stood firm, which is just adorable to me. So, here’s our little giraffe and her big brother, dressed as himself! ;-) Have you ever seen a cuter giraffe or big brother?? I think not!
