Whoops, sorry about that unintentional week off from the blog! Things have been just a taaaad bit crazy around here (in a great possible way). We finally moved (YAYY!!!!) into our new home which I am now convinced it was much easier to move myself across country than it was to move with 2 littles under 2 and 2 dogs, 8 miles away. Goodness, but we did it!! I think we’ll be trading things with my parents for months as we discover each other’s things mixed in with our stuff, but we’re making progress.
One of the most common questions people ask someone they just met is “where are you from?” It’s a simple enough question, and one that many people probably have no trouble answering, but in the last 5 or 6 years, it has become a harder question for me to answer. My answer will differ, depending on where we are, who is asking, and how much time we have, and if it’s really that big of a deal. :-)
Fast forward a few years, and they were visiting New York City together. At the top of the Empire State Building, Daniel handed his camera to a stranger and asked her to take a picture of them. Just before she took the picture, he stopped her, got down on one knee, and asked Blake to marry him! How romantic is that!?
Happy Monday! Over the past few weeks, I have gathered so many little moments that I wanted to share, but I never find the best way for sharing them…and then I thought of a quick little Motherhood blog post that I could write out some of my favorite things from the past week. It helps me to remember them, and they can be fun to share with you!
I am so thrilled that you have found your way here! I’m Karen, a wedding and lifestyle photographer with a passion for ice cream, dogs, and Gilmore Girls. My blog is a place where I can share love stories with you, whether it’s an engagement, a wedding day, or the welcoming of a new baby! It is also a scrapbook of my life and a little glimpse into our home, our love, and our family. I hope you will enjoy following along!
