I’m so excited to officially announce Fall Mini-Sessions!! I didn’t get a chance to offer these last year, but LOVED them the year before, and it’ll be fun to have them again! These are a GREAT opportunity to update your family pictures and capture something for your Christmas cards (can you believe we’re already talking about Christmas!?). Families, couples, maternity, doesn’t matter! Any and all are welcome. :-)
I first met Ashley and Erik back at their maternity session in June, and so to watch them transition (in my eyes) seamlessly into their role as new parents has been so neat! They work as a team for their sweet baby girl, and they are both wrapped around her little fingers already. They adore their sweet girl, and I loved capturing these moments for them. In the midst of the blur that become the first few weeks after having a baby, it’s always nice to be able to relax, have a reason to shower and get dressed and feel pretty, and just love on your sweet new baby without any of the other demands calling for your attention.
If we are friends on Facebook or you follow me on Instagram, than you know what last week held for our little family. Last Sunday (the 7th) our 2 pups got out and went for an EPIC romp. They used to do this from time to time in our old neighborhood, and would always come home within a few hours, together. This time was different though. Nearly 24 hours after the ran, Owen came home alone, which has NEVER happened. The moment I saw him, I broke down in tears because Blakely wasn’t with him and I feared the worst.
Megan is my dear cousin, and I still picture her as a little girl, playing Littlest Pet Shop with my little sister…but she has grown into a beautiful young woman with an absolutely incredible heart for the Lord! I wish I had the time to tell you her entire story, but let me just say that her life is an absolute miracle, and her love for the Lord is awe-inspiring. We all (my family) first met Adolfo a couple of years ago when Megan’s brother Nate got married. We were all immediately taken by the way he cared for Megan, watched over her, and loved not just her, but her family so well.
I am so thrilled that you have found your way here! I’m Karen, a wedding and lifestyle photographer with a passion for ice cream, dogs, and Gilmore Girls. My blog is a place where I can share love stories with you, whether it’s an engagement, a wedding day, or the welcoming of a new baby! It is also a scrapbook of my life and a little glimpse into our home, our love, and our family. I hope you will enjoy following along!
