When Karly, Ray, and I met up for their engagement session this past summer, it was nearly 80 degrees with 90% humidity by 7am. We were SO HOT. I remember them saying that they preferred the cool weather to the heat, and that’s one of the reasons they picked a November wedding. Their wedding day didn’t disappoint (although it WAS 80 degrees the day before), and the cool weather was a welcome relief, AND they hit the peak fall foliage color. It may have brought some rain showers, but these two didn’t let it phase them, and they went right ahead with their gorgeous outdoor ceremony, something I love them for! These two are so fun to be around, and just keep you on your toes with their faces, laughs, and love. One of my favorite moments of the day, was watching Ray’s face when he saw Karly head toward the ceremony site. Karly has grown up around horses, and decided to surprise Ray by coming in on a horse-drawn carriage…and I’m pretty positive his reaction to seeing her drive up with her dad was EXACTLY what she was hoping for! All in all, their gorgeous fall wedding at Karly’s mom’s home was spectacular, and I’m so excited to share some of my favorites!
Karly and Ray, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day!!
The back of their dresses were so gorgeous!
Karly!! You were STUNNING!
Their sweet, sweet pup Mocha was the flower dog! Also, she truly hates having her picture taken! No joke…she knows when the camera is pointed at her, and she looks away, but how precious is she and the flower girl?
I know this is a big grouping of images, but seriously, Ray’s reaction to seeing Karly come in on the carriage was PRICELESS!
The light was disappearing FAST with the dark rain clouds, so we whipped all these portraits out in maybe 10 minutes. These guys were PROS!!
Also, there is something sooooo dreamy about black and white images on cloudy, rainy days. I don’t know what it is, but I LOVE them!
Ha! This one just made me laugh and I had to include it…it’s a perfect representation of their fun personalities!
Congratulations Karly & Ray!!
And a huge thank you to all the vendors who helped make this day beautiful!
